Solution
MotionAds launched a two-phase campaign across Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town, deploying 50 branded delivery bikes during each phase to maximise consistent exposure across key urban centres.
The campaign utilised fully branded top-box wraps that promoted one clear message: encouraging employers and employees to have salaries paid directly onto the Mukuru Card. The bold creative transformed every delivery journey into a moving financial advertisement, while prominent WhatsApp calls-to-action invited consumers to engage with Mukuru instantly, creating a seamless path from awareness to enquiry.
To deepen engagement, every delivery also included a branded information flyer attached directly to customers' delivery orders. The flyers expanded on the messaging featured on the bikes by explaining the card's everyday benefits, including salary payments, airtime purchases, money transfers, cashback at participating retailers and ATM access. QR codes and clear calls-to-action provided another easy way for consumers to learn more and begin the sign-up process immediately.
By combining highly visible moving media with instant digital engagement and educational collateral delivered directly into consumers' hands, MotionAds created a multi-touchpoint campaign that successfully blended brand awareness, product education and customer acquisition into one integrated strategy.

The success of the initial three-month campaign led Mukuru to immediately extend the activity for a further three months, demonstrating confidence in the platform's ability to consistently drive engagement.
