Solution
MotionAds executed a suburb-focused takeover by deploying a coordinated fleet of branded Uber Eats bikes across priority areas such as Soweto, Vanderbijlpark, Durban North and the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. This ensured that Uber Eats was consistently present in the streets where visibility mattered most, reinforcing the brand as the most trusted and recognisable delivery partner in those neighbourhoods.
At the same time extending into households with the distribution of the in-home flyers. These featured the “We’ve got your thing” message along with a promotion of up to 50% off a first order of R100 or more using the code “EATSHELLOZA.”
This not only incentivised new user signups but also encouraged peer-to-peer referrals, expanding Uber Eats’ reach through word-of-mouth sharing.

Results

Over 1,217,000 branded kilometres were covered across high-traffic zones, and more than 288,725 branded deliveries, complete with special promo flyers attached, were delivered during the campaign.
Its strong performance led to a four-month extension beyond the original scope, and multiple other campaigns followed too.
