Problem-Solution Fit
With multiple services to promote, Shoprite needed a media solution that offered greater flexibility than traditional OOH. Running separate campaigns for each product would increase costs and reduce efficiency, while a single static message wouldn't accommodate changing business priorities.
MotionAds solved this challenge by providing a platform capable of supporting multiple products simultaneously, while also allowing campaigns to evolve over time. Whether promoting two services side-by-side or transitioning to a single product following a rebrand, the MotionAds network gave Shoprite the flexibility to adapt its messaging without changing media channels.

Solution
MotionAds launched a fully integrated moving media campaign across Cape Town and Johannesburg, combining branded delivery bikes with targeted in-home flyer distribution to maximise both awareness and consumer engagement.
Branded top-boxes transformed everyday delivery bikes into high-frequency moving billboards, carrying both Knect Mobile and SuperSwift Money Transfers through residential suburbs, busy commuter routes, retail precincts, and commercial hubs. This ensured the campaign remained visible throughout consumers' daily journeys, repeatedly reinforcing both brands in highly contextual environments where convenience and accessibility naturally resonated.
To complement the street-level visibility, MotionAds distributed dedicated product flyers directly to consumers during deliveries. Rather than relying solely on awareness, the flyers provided an opportunity to communicate each product's key value proposition in greater detail. Knect Mobile's creative highlighted the benefits of joining South Africa's rewards-based cellular network, while SuperSwift educated consumers about its trusted international money transfer service, capable of sending money safely to more than 70 countries.
By combining large-format moving branding with targeted flyer distribution, MotionAds created multiple touchpoints throughout the customer journey. Consumers first encountered the campaign on the road before receiving more detailed product information in-hand, allowing Shoprite to build awareness while educating potential customers about two distinct services within a single integrated campaign.

Results
The success of the initial campaign led Shoprite to extend its investment with MotionAds for a further three months, demonstrating confidence in the platform's ability to support long-term brand building.
During this extension, SuperSwift officially rebranded to Shoprite Send, creating an opportunity to introduce the new identity to consumers without losing the awareness already established by the campaign. Rather than launching an entirely new media buy, MotionAds seamlessly refreshed the creative across the existing fleet, allowing the campaign to continue uninterrupted while educating consumers about the transition from SuperSwift to Shoprite Send.
The campaign ultimately showcased one of MotionAds' greatest strengths: the ability to evolve alongside a client's business.
